Using EFalke’s Electric Power Module (EPM 300), The HolisticHybrid™ connects to engines with PTO/PTI gearboxes for flexible hybrid operation:
PTO mode: The main engine drives the EPM 300 to generate electricity for onboard systems or charge batteries while sailing.
PTI mode: The EPM 300 acts as an electric motor, enabling silent propulsion and maneuvering with engines off.
This integration reduces fuel consumption, extends range, and allows hybrid operation without compromising reliability.
